One ‘Doap’ Night in Charlotte: A Photo Essay

    Views 2.61k

Earlier this month, Charlotte artist ReeCee Raps hosted a concert with a full lineup of independent artists from Charlotte and beyond.

Titled “One DOAP Concert,” a play on the name of her first project “Diary Of A Pothead,” the event was held at Crown Station in the NoDa neighborhood on a perfect early fall night.

THE BLOCK was able to pull up amidst the high energy and amazingly talented musicians to capture some epic moments from the night. The event featured performances by ReeCee Raps, Trent Dominic, Chocolate KNDY, Queen Lo and included an open mic cypher, as well as a number of special guest appearances. To top it off, proceeds from ticket sales went to support domestic violence survivors in need.
